I spent the first 25 years of life, trying to be logical and failing at it miserably.
It all started well. A degree in Aeronautical Engineering led to a job in the auto industry. The company that I worked for even invested heavily in me and put me through a postgraduate, industrial management degree.
But, at the end of all this, I made a decision as a logician and paid with sitting home for 9 months, not knowing what to do next.
The conclusion, it all comes down to trying to understand the people around us.
So, the day we come out of our own skin and look at the world from the eyes of others, is when we have taken our first steps as a leader.
Today, my doctoral research looks at the impact of changing technology on people in a postmodern light. More specifically, I try to understand how people interact and immerse into technology at a collective, societal level.
This study of immersion into technology feels right for ArchR. We may be trying to create immersive experiences for organisational HR, but the underlying goal here is the betterment of the humans involved.
I look forward to learning more from you 🙂
