In 2013, I had no business, no customers, and no connections . All I had at my disposal was my computer and an idea.
But still, the well known phrase “it’s not about what you know, but who you know” was my biggest challenge.
Simply, I was just more comfortable building my business behind a computer screen than getting out into the real world, making connections.
Therein the road ahead of me was hard to climb, but I nevertheless built a team of remote workers through the internet. And furthermore my approach to solving a business-problem was through technology, rather than people.
Over time, I learnt the hard way that technology is not the answer to all your problems, and slowly started to reverse my approach.
Starting with developing a community of collaborating coworkers in Leicester, fast forward to today, I now design software, systems and services with a people-first approach. And, I believe that this is the perfect time to be getting involved in ArchR – immersive technology for HR.
ArchR doesn’t just represent a development in the way I do business, but in myself.
I understand that the way to transform HR is at the human level, and such is our approach. We just bring technology into the mix to make the process more exciting.
I look forward to meeting you 🙂
